This is a new MTD with the wood combination Andrew Gouche has been using for the last couple of years. Great solidity, moderate compression, and punch. Almost neck-thru like, but with better punch, clarity, and articulation. Top end is not shrill, bottom end is solid, and satisfying, middle is very balanced, and even. This is a stellar slap bass with good pronounced attack for fingerstyle as well.
