MTD 535 Myrtle Burl
Offered is the 2154th bass in the MTD American series. This MTD 535-24, features a “mesmerizing” highly contrasting myrtle burl top and poplar body. Its beautiful tortoise shell border to almost clear center amber burst finish enhances the exquisite figuring of the myrtle. Its wenge neck and fingerboard provide immediacy and unsurpassed articulation with slight “constriction” or attenuation in the upper midrange making this an ultimate “slap machine”. This is the “quintessential” MTD played by such bass luminaries as Norm Stockton.
Fingerstyle playing yields quickness, immediacy, excellent articulation, and superior punch.
